Product Details

When you need to replace the concaves in your John Deere® Combine, you don’t want to do it again until you absolutely have to. That’s why Abilene Machine’s aftermarket combine concaves are built with C1040 heavy-duty, high carbon steel cross bars and use high carbon steel 5/16-inch wires for longer wear.

Each one of the concaves we sell are manufactured right here at our Kansas facility. Our American made combine concaves are designed to go the distance, giving you a long-lasting, high-quality part.

As one of the aftermarket’s leading combine concave manufacturers, and we’ve got the process down. Make sure to watch the video below to see how we do it. We’re sure you’ll find that ours are some of the best combine concaves for the aftermarket.

You can change your combine concave settings to get the a cleaner sample, but starting with the right concaves will give you more flexibility to adjust for ground speed and the varying conditions you find in each field. Grain quality is the name of the game.

We drill our holes super tight so the wire fits just right. You get less spearing and trapped straw during the threshing and separating that goes on inside your machine during the harvest process. You want the best grade going across the scale when you sell your threshed grain. And that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?

Our precision combine concaves are used across the country – and overseas – to harvest crops and turn them into commodities. We build round bar concaves, narrow wire concaves, large wire concaves, and helical concaves so you know we always have the combine parts in stock that you need for harvest.

They say the miser pays twice, and you’ve seen it happen. That’s why you buy high-quality aftermarket combine parts from us.

Since 1980, Abilene Machine has been helping farmers keep their combines in good operating condition. We started with used combine parts, but now we stock a substantial amount of new and remanufactured parts for combines, grain headers, corn headers, sunflower headers, platforms and draper headers

Combines are essentially rolling threshing machines for the corn, wheat, milo, beans and other grains and oilseeds they cut out of the field every harvest. There are many ways these harvesters accomplish the goal of turning the fruits of your labor into a salable commodity, but they all are guaranteed to need parts replaced at certain intervals of run time.

That’s where we come in. Our sales staff is very familiar with the inner workings of these miracle machines, as many grew up wrenching on them on their family farms while growing up. If you need combine belts, roller chains, guides, wear tips, bearings or hydraulic lift cylinders, we have them.

Have questions? Our knowledgeable sales staff is ready to help you find the parts you need during business hours. Or, use our website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to get parts shipped quickly to your door.

We make it easy to get the parts you need, and you will get Honest. Personal. Service. anytime you do business with the Abilene Machine family.
