This new expansion valve replaces OEM part numbers 66398C1, 539064R1, 71162473, 71506527, A42625, and F63726 on Allis Chalmers®, Case®, Gleaner®, International®, and White® agricultural equipment.

The expansion valve in your tractor or combine’s air conditioning system may not look like it’s as important as other larger parts, but it is actually the part that produces the cold air you want flowing from your vents. Despite its size, it’s a very important part of your A/C system.

When your expansion valve goes bad, you may experience only warm air coming from the vents, inconsistent temperature, or even frost forming on the vents, as this component is what regulates the flow of refrigerant in the system.

If you’ve experienced a compressor failure, you always want to replace the expansion valve along with the compressor and dryer or accumulator. This will help keep your system working correctly, and keep your tractor out of the shed and in the field where it belongs.
