Product Details

A worn left deck plate is a quiet way to bleed yield all fall. This left-hand manual adjust deck plate replaces OEM Part Number 87047540 on Case IH® 2200 and 2400 series cornheads and on New Holland® 98C heads, tightening up the opening so stalks pull through and ears stay on top of the chains instead of dropping to the ground. Fresh steel here gives the row unit a straight, clean edge again so you are not fighting scalloped, thin or bent plate every time you hit down corn or ragged stands.

Installed with a matching right-hand plate and decent gathering chains, this replacement deck plate helps the head feed more evenly from row to row and reduces header loss without touching a setting on the monitor. It is a new aftermarket part built to bolt into your existing row unit castings and adjusters, so you can keep a paid-for head in the field for many more acres instead of trading over a handful of worn iron.
