If the left hydraulic deck plate is thin or chewed up, your fancy in-cab adjust does not mean much. This left-hand hydraulic adjust deck plate replaces OEM Part Number 87047608 on Case IH® 2200 and 2400 series cornheads and New Holland® 98C heads, giving the row unit a straight, solid edge so the deck opening you set from the cab actually holds stalks and ears the way it should. It is the front line between decent feeding and a trail of yellow behind you when conditions get tough.

Paired with a good right-hand plate and healthy gathering chains, this new plate helps you make the most of hydraulic adjustment in down corn, variable stands and trashy fields by keeping the gap consistent from row to row. It is built as a direct replacement for the original plate and works with the existing hydraulic adjust hardware, so you can freshen up a paid-for head and keep it picking instead of shopping new head prices just because the business end is worn out.
