Grain tank unload system on a Case IH® combine does not ask for much, but the rear drive sprocket has to be right or the whole thing suffers. This grain tank unloader drive sprocket is built for combines like 1420, 1440, 1460, 1470, 1480, 1482, 1620, 1640, 1644, 1660, 1666, 1670, 1680, 1682, 1688, 2144, 2166, 2188, 2344, 2366, 2377 and 2388, driving the rear auger with a 37 tooth profile for #40 chain so grain keeps moving out of the tank instead of stalling and jerking. Proper diameter and bore keep everything lined up so the chain runs smooth instead of chewing itself to death.
A fresh sprocket here takes the slack out of the drive, cuts down on vibration and extends the life of the chain, bearings and shafts around it. Replacing a rounded, hooked original before it fails is cheap insurance compared to downtime with a wagon waiting and the weather bearing down. Backed by a 1 year warranty from Abilene Machine, this grain tank unloader drive sprocket lets seasoned Case IH® combines keep unloading like they did when they were new.
