John Deere® Sound-Gard cab tractors ride a lot better when the seat and suspension are actually pulling their weight. This Grammer® brown matrix fabric 731 tractor seat and MSG83 compact mechanical suspension kit is built as a plug and play upgrade for tractors with the wide 11 inch seat well, including 2750, 2755, 2950, 2955, 3030, 3040, 3130, 3140, 3150, 4000, 4030, 4040, 4050, 4055, 4230, 4240, 4250, 4255, 4430, 4440, 4450, 4455, 4560, 4630, 4640, 4650, 4755, 4760, 4840, 4850, 4955 and 4960. The 731 seat top runs a 20.50 inch wide cushion that is 4.50 inches thick with a 17.50 inch tall backrest, adjustable lumbar, a reclining back from minus 10 degrees to plus 24 degrees and foldable armrests, so you can settle into the seat instead of perching on tired foam all day. The brown matrix fabric is tough enough for dust, grease and chore clothes and still looks right in a working Sound-Gard cab.
Underneath, the MSG83 compact mechanical suspension does the dirty work. A long suspension stroke of more than 3 inches, a weight adjustment range from around 100 to 285 pounds, three-position height adjustment, flip-handle weight control with a front weight indicator and slide rails that move in 0.50 inch steps all work together to knock down vibration and bounce before they beat up your back. An operator presence switch keeps the safety system happy, and the kit comes as a true plug and play package with the Grammer® 731 seat, MSG83 compact mechanical suspension, seat adapter plate, pedestal, slide rail kit and installation kit so you can bolt it in, plug it in and head back to the field with a smoother ride from the tractor you already own.

Abilene Machine, LLC offers a standard 1-year warranty on all new, used and remanufactured parts. Abilene Machine reserves the right to inspect any or all parts returned for warranty before warranty claims will be honored. In all instances, Abilene Machine's sole liability will be either replacing the defective part or a refund not to exceed the purchase price of the defective part.
