Product Details

Early John Deere 3030, 3130, 4030, 4230, 4430 and 4630 tractors still have a lot of work left in them, but the original seat and suspension usually do not. This Grammer 731 brown matrix fabric tractor seat and MSG83 compact mechanical suspension kit is built as a plug and play upgrade for early Sound-Gard cabs with the narrow 7 inch seat well. The 17.50 inch tall backrest, 20.50 inch wide cushion that is 4.50 inches thick, adjustable lumbar support, reclining backrest from minus 10 degrees to plus 24 degrees and foldable armrest give your back and legs real support instead of just a worn-out perch. The brown matrix fabric stands up to dust, grease and chore clothes and still looks right in an early Deere cab.

Underneath, the MSG83 compact mechanical suspension takes the beating so your spine does not have to. A flip-handle weight adjustment with front weight indicator lets you dial in the suspension for different operators, while three-position height adjustment and a long suspension stroke help soak up rough ground and low speed bounce. Fore and aft adjustment on slide rails in half inch increments and an operator presence switch round out a true plug and play package for these early tractors. The kit includes the Grammer seat, MSG83 compact mechanical suspension, seat adapter plate and installation kit so you can bolt it in, hook it up and get back to work with a smoother ride out of the tractor you already own.
