One of the most important parts of your John Deere® are the drive belts. Keep them at optimum tension with a new automatic belt tensioner from Abilene Machine.
Powering the hydraulic systems, cooling systems, cleaning systems, and threshing systems, belts are a key component that you will want to replace at regular intervals to avoid down time. While tension used to be set by adjusting an accessory pulley and tightening a bolt, spring-loaded automatic belt tensioners apply the correct amount of pressure to your belt drive system as the belt stretches during its service life.
When your belt tensioner no longer functions like it should, you could experience belt squeal from not having enough tension. Squealing belts wear out prematurely, and if your accessory pulleys aren't turning at the correct RPM, that could lead to problems with overheating, undercharging, and improper hydraulic pressure.
Even worse, if your belt tensioner breaks, you could lose the belt altogether and risk extreme damage to your engine and the accessory systems it drives.
Our line of replacement agricultural belt tensioners will keep your equipment operating like the manufacturer intended. Keep you belts tight, and your engine right with belts and tensioners from Abilene Machine!
